AEROSMITH Frontman To Appear On WILLIE NELSON TV Special
May 25, 2003AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler is among the featured guests on USA Network's "Willie Nelson and Friends: Live and Kickin'", a 70th birthday celebration for a self-proclaimed old-fashioned musical man, who, to many of his fans, represents a breathing symbol of America.
The show, which is set to air Monday night (May 26) at 9:00 p.m. EST, was taped April 9 at New York's Beacon Theatre, and features Tyler and Nelson sharing the mic for a "rockin'" rendition of "One Time Too Many", the long-"lost" 1987 collaboration between the pair that finally surfaced on "The Essential Willie Nelson" collection earlier this year. Other musical assistants during the show include Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, Norah Jones, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, Wyclef Jean, Lyle Lovett, Toby Keith, Sheryl Crow, Ray Price, Shelby Lynne and Shania Twain. Among the hosts: Robert De Niro, Whoopi Goldberg and Bill Clinton.
